The Bank of England recently announced that inflation will soon hit its 2% target and interest rates continue to stabilise, paving the way for more M&A activity over the coming months. But despite the positive outlook, a lack of transparency throughout the M&A process is still holding the sector back.  At best, a lack of transparency in M&A can complicate transactions and slow down deal flow.
