Barry O'Dwyer reveals digital platform plans for pensions arm

Royal London is rolling out new technology that is says is “significantly superior” to its competitors, according to group chief executive Barry O'Dwyer.

Speaking to Professional Adviser, O'Dwyer said Royal London is in the process of rolling out a digital platform for its pensions business. He revealed that this platform is currently being tested with a select group of advisory firms before its full-scale rollout to the market. He also noted that it addresses the shortcomings of outdated platforms prevalent in the industry.
